The Aims of Just Mobile Games

Just Mobile Games is a company that develops, markets and sells mobile games. You will know that our debut release is Curse of the Pharaohs. Our aim is to create a site that people know is the place to come and buy mobile games. We want this to be a place were people will find the best games within each genre. Every effort will be made to point customers in the direction of games that will appeal to them. I have often enjoyed games which may have got less than 90% in reviews because I particularly enjoy the genre to which they belong. When people review things (not just computer games) some people get into bashing something because it isn't the flavour of the month, "not original", or whatever. Trouble is, there may be thousands of people who still enjoy that flavour and looking for more - and why not? They want fair, honest reviews so they can make the purchase that is best suited to them.

Having said that, we want to provide the facilities for customers to have their say about a product and would certainly not censor these reviews. I personally think that many people trust these reviews more than any comment from someone who has a vested interest in selling the game, something I totally understand. Once you have enough reviews I have found good products end up getting fairly treated especially if people are not writing "this is bad because it is not my taste".

At the moment, this site is only selling Curse of the Pharaohs so there are things to be done. You may notice that I am very positive about Curse of the Pharaohs. I don't apologize for this (I put many, many hours into it) and I also offer a demo so customers can try out the game themselves. I encourage all developers to give a generous slab of the game away in demo form. This will give people a chance to get into your vision. Hopefully, the slab of Curse of the Pharaohs is big enough for you to get into mine. Enjoy.

Opportunities for Game Developers

Have you or your company created game for a mobile device and:

  • can't be bothered with coding the licensing
  • need a web site on which to sell your game
  • have a web site but need more places to sell your game
  • need someone to market your game
  • We are looking for great games to stand alongside COTP. If a customer arrives at our site looking for COTP they will most likely take a look at your game too. As the site expands and we offer more games for sale, the format will change to that of a game shop rather than the "home page of COTP". Our own games will not take precedence over those of others and even when someone is looking at, for example COTP, they will be left in no doubt that they are visiting a web shop where more is on offer.

In short, if any of the above apply to you, then feel free to get in contact with us.

    Future Projects

In the future we will be:

  • Expanding the e-commerce side of this site to accommodate the sale of mobile games created by other developers.
  • Releasing COTP for other devices including Smart phone, Palm and Symbian devices.

  • Other Services

In addition to our work within the realm of mobile games, we also offer the following services:

  • Development of custom web sites/shops
  • Internet/E-commerce consultancy
  • Development of custom software solutions, including database applications, for the Pocket PC and Smart phone
  • Evidence of the skills which these services require can be seen on this web site and in the product we offer.
